The Mecenate Palace hotel is located in Rome's historical centre, a short distance from the Forum, the Colosseum and the Opera House, with convenient public transport to shopping and business centres such as piazza Barberini, via Bissolati, via Condotti and the Spanish Steps. The hotel is comprised of two adjacent buildings, one overlooking Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore, which dates back to 1887 and the other on via Carlo Alberto, that was built a few years later. Renovation work was carefully planned to restore the building's faades and the romantic interiors to their original splendor.
